We don't get snow often, Living by Houston. But when we do it's hilarious. School gets shut down for laughable amounts of snow. It rarely even sticks.
I refuse to be on the streets when the roads are even icy though. No one down here understands how to drive in snowy weather. Where about are you?

His use of random Latin does ring alarm bells as far as trolling, though. It'd be pretty obvious from my reply alone that my vocabulary is rather unusual, and he didn't start responding in this manner until after my post, too. It wasn't particularly clever of him to do so if he wished to annoy people, though; that sort of linguistic abuse is more often seen as a joke than a nuisance.

I'm also doubtful that he's an alt from a previous user here. If he were, he probably wouldn't accuse me of listening to the Beatles in order to provoke a response. I'd think he'd pick something more pop, less rock, and more recent than the British Invasion, maybe Morning Musume or something.
He also thinks I'm smart and was serious about the xenophobia.

    Then again, so did you.

Oh, yeah, that's true. I suppose it's possible he said it because you did post once in the thread before with the minor note that could be taken to be in his support if he were desperate enough, but that's reaching a bit.

Everything he replied with was reaching, if not downright out of context or off-topic.

It's a similar situation in my area. Although I'm not in school anymore I used to work as a receptionist at a hotel and we had to stay open when it iced since guests were still in the building. It was kind of nice because the staff got free rooms during bad weather, but really it just guaranteed that you couldn't call off work the next day.

Now I work at an eye doctor's office and I'm really hoping we close tomorrow
