And certainly not Ray, he made me change the tendency of an entire world so I could fight a black phantom and steal his talisman. A talisman that I can't really even use properly at the moment.![]()
But that's so far away. I haven't been upgrading my faith very much at all. Apparently I need magic and faith to be about 18 to even wield it, and they should be about equal in their increases after that?
My magic is 30 or so right now, my faith is somewhere above 12 and below 18.

Just had a nose bleed at work.
That was slightly.
Not really, miracles are largely a waste of time. But being able to basically cast them and have just enough slots for the one or two miracles that are good will make things great. Plus the talisman is an awesome catalyst on top of that.
Also, keep in mind there's still the new game+. Where the game gets HARDER. Just because it's not done being a dick quite yet. Plus depending on which ending you get you could have more souls than you know what to do with. And if you get the *other* ending, you get a skill that allows you to stockpile hilarious amounts of souls provided you don't mind getting within punching distance of enemies that can kill you in one hit.
(There is no perfect build. My character is a mage that has a taste for dual wielding the heaviest weapon in the game. As long as you can pull it off, there is no perfect stat distribution.)
