At least it doesn't put you to sleep

Also expect me to hope for ammo quite a bit. Because that Centurion fight really drained me, and tight corridors make it slightly difficult to avoid enemies. At least there aren't any Crimson Heads..

    .....

I'm going to pay for letting you people decide between original RE and REMake, aren't I?

True. I rarely get sick during games -- there have only been a couple, in all my years of gaming, that I haven't been able to handle. I don't even remember what they were... and I think it was because I was just watching, not playing. When I'm in control, it doesn't bother me.

    Also,

Have you played any other games by Bethesda, Drageuth? Maybe you're a candidate for the Bethesda Haters club.

Another video down. Or up, depending on your POV.

I will beat this damned romhack one way or another.

I'm not sure. It's not a company name that I recognize, but I don't usually pay attention. And I wouldn't say that I hate it, 'cause it is a pretty nifty game, I'm just not really "into" it like everyone seemed to think I would be.

It's certainly interesting, though. I'm going to give it a few more hours and see if I still want to play anymore.

They're most famous for Morrowind / Oblivion.

And I still haven't played Fallout 3. I still want to give it a chance at some point, but I'm not especially fond of sandboxes. Or at least sandboxes that are sort of empty, as all the Bethesda games I've played have been.

Ahh. In that case, I've heard of them, but never actually played any of their games. And yeah, I'm not a huge sandbox fan. I prefer more linear games, with side-quests that you can do along the way. I find if the game is too open, I get distracted and forget what I'm doing, then I never finish it 'cause I get tired of wandering around.

It's certainly an interesting game, though. I'm not overly found of the weapons up until this point, and I actually find it difficult to aim. But that might just be me, and my penchant for using hunting rifles. I really should give the laser pistol a chance...

Also, sawed off shotgun = not a good weapon.

    HOLY FUCK.

I'm barely into the game at all and I just got sniped with a rocket launcher, while being suppressed with machine gun fire.

I HAVE A FUCKING HUNTING RIFLE. Also, laser pistol = not that great either.

Yeah, you learn one thing fast in Fallout 3/New Vegas: Weapons that do low damage but pump out the hits (like shotguns and SMGs) suck. Because damage reduction applies individually against every shot. Early on, the 10mm pistol and the hunting rifle are your go-to weapons if you're specced to use small guns. Unless you're fighting point-blank and can headshot someone.

I'm guessing you accidentally blundered into a Super Mutant group. It happens and its usually fatal for starting characters.

The hunting rifle has been my weapon of choice so far. I should have been using my pistol a bit more, 'cause I'm dangerously low on hunting rifle ammo at the moment. However, I'm starting to get the hang of the VATS system, which is nice. I'm not sure if I want to keep playing for the night, though -- even though I took out rocket bitch.

    Also, smokebreak.
