As for Xenoblade, to each their own. Though you could've been a bit more specific. You basically do the same stuff in many RPGs, which is exploring the world, doing battles and letting the story unfold.
The repetitive sidequests are entirely optional.![]()
Yeah, that too. I hope there's a New Game+, though. I just might look for a savegame that has you at Lv99 from the beginning, so I can just blast through the game without having to bother with all the tedious bullshit.
Muramasa was a much more user-friendly game in that regard. It was much, much shorter, and I actually ended up finishing it. It's still the same repetitive gameplay, but it's over before it could get boring, and it has no item management.
I always dug mine... for it's time, it was really the best. Graphics were great, and until Sony introduced DualShock pads, it had the coolest controller, IMO. My two biggest complaints are the amount of batteries the N64 rumble pack chews up (Lots... and NOTHING else I own uses AAA batteries!) and the analog stick being VERY prone to wear. After much use, it becomes loose and sloppy. I still have a couple pads that need repair for this reason.
