I've never played it, but I remember seeing adverts for it at a friends house when it first came out. It's also pretty cheap now, which increases the likelihood of my getting it sometime in the near future.

The other similar type game I was looking at ages ago was Dead Space. Is that any good? I get the feeling that Bioshock has an infinitely better reputation, in which case I'll just get that and skip over Dead Space.

I was going to try and platinum Batman, but I'm apparently horrible at button mashing, because those challenge medals are a pain. That can stay uncompleted.
