    1) Put 9-42 gauge strings on the Les Paul after using 10-46 for five years.
    2) Top-wrap the bridge.
    3) All annoying setup issues magically fix themselves.

    I really should get more technical when it comes to guitars, I only know how to restring it and such, but I have no idea what strings should I use and whatnot.

    Dude, awesome! We'll have to play sometime soon.

    9s or 10s are standard gauge I guess. I use heavy gauge strings normally but I just thought I'd try 9s for a change. They've really made that guitar come alive. :O
