I also have a copy of it saved (cached version via Google, now that I've started to figure it out) with all of the image links and whatnot in it. However, it's in HTML, so it would require some editting as you go through. But it does include all of the image links, if you don't readily have them at your disposal (not sure how ImageShack works, personally). It's from a few days ago (Dec. 16), so it doesn't include my "note" that you included into it, but whatever.

My permissions appear fine in the upload section. At least, thus far.

Better than nothing. Plus it should be easy enough to replicate. It was a short note on framerate setups and the like. I should be able to knock it out in no time. I'm pretty sure I have the bulk of the images used in the guide anyway, so it should be fine. If not, I can always make more once I get back home.

    Thanks greatly for everyone involved.

Might be easier... Although he'll have to redo the post linkage anyway (they'll surely be different numbers now ).

Well, if you end up realizing you can't find/don't have some of the images, they are saved as an HTML document on my laptop for the time being. Now that I know what I'm doing (it helps that I'm not dead tired), I wish I had been able to help out more last night. Oh well.

Also, if you do include my note again, maybe make me sound like less of an idiot.

True dat. But with the HTML version, you would also have to go through the entire document and clean up everything first. The images were hosted somewhere else (imageshack or one of those places), so they at least remain in that location. There were only a few links throughout the guide, and they all refered to different sections of the same thread.

Whatever. It's Ray's baby to deal with. I'm going to see if there are any more useless links/FAQs that I can update, like the computer tech one that no one has used in probably a year and a half. Seriously, "how to set up an FTP" ??

I recommend concentrating on the useful/essential threads and whatever is actually worth the bother.

The rest should fit under a "only if someone brings it up" policy.

Yeah, but I don't fully understand the indexing and whatnot of the games, so I'm not touching those until someone shows me how they do it/asks for my help. And I don't want to re-post FAQs that other members have written, lest I step on their toes. So until given further instruction, I'm just digging through and seeing what I can do.

Oh man. That was golden gold.

In any case, I might be able to salvage my Dolphin guide and a few LP threads from Google's cache. Better than nothing, I suppose.

Good idea. You could always PM links and stuff you find to those who posted it. Play the dispatcher.

Also, for anyone who's interested/wants to keep track of who is doing what, I'm going through the Sony Systems Guide List and piecing that back together. I'm going to attempt to hunt down all of the pages that were linked and, if the member is currently around, I will PM them the code if they want to re-post it. If they don't get back to me within a week, I'll post the remaining FAQs and let them take ownership when/if they return.
