my theory is that if you can't at least speak passable english, you don't have the right to expect people to understand you. i hate when people get uptight when someone asks them to rephrase their question in broken engrish.

I can get behind it if the person speaking the broken English has a bad attitude about it when people ask him to clarify what it is he's saying, but overall I think it's fucked up to dog someone just because they don't have a very good mastery of the English language, especially when you're not sure if it's even that person's first language.

Then again, grammar Nazi's in general piss me off. It's such a stupid thing to fuck with someone over. If the post is generally understandable, a few errors here and there aren't all that big a deal.
