No you don't need a HDD. He meant you need a memcard to put the save onto your HDD. You load Splinter Cell then you load a savefile thta Splinter Cell regitsers as a save game. It boots the EvX Dashboard then yo uproceed to softmod from there. It will play mnovies after that.

I didn't mean for a chip, I meant so you can make a XBOX to USB plug so you can use a memory stick to transfer saves.

You can do it for the price of a blank cd if you don't mind opening the Xbox to hotswap to your pc.

If I had a spare memory card I'd put the saves on and send it to you. I'd probably lend you my splinter cell disc as well, but the problem is I only have one memory card. I would be gutted if it was lost in the post.

Hot Swapping is win. I went frm being able to hold 1 Game to holding 12 on my Box. It's a shame it's borked now.
