I don't play multiplayer offline, but that wouldn't happen. That is just what happens usually when the host either quits a game or a new host is selected. So basically, I am losing connection somehow, but it isn't long enough for me to get kicked out of the game. At least that is what I think.

edit: I don't think there is anything wrong with your games or xbox, but I've read that there are quite a few games that will do what you're describing unless you have a specific patch for them.
