They're not going spare yet. ^_~ I'm still debating whether or not I should bother, being that it'd be less an upgrade and more a...new PC. I guess I could just seek out parts that would accomodate my harddisks and so forth, but if I'm going to upgrade, I want something really good, not just something a little better.

Un, I kinda figured that might be the cheapest option. Although...looking at the prices on 500GB SATA harddisks nowadays, I was tempted to just buy one. It's 100GB more than I have in itself. ; It just seems so wasteful.

So, cheeseburger. Cheese goes on bottom or on top? Discuss.

You could buy an external enclosure, a SATA/IDE adapter, a PCI HDD controller.......

Yeah, I thought about that too. But for all the hassle it just doesn't seem worth it. Besides, if I could give them away, I'd feel like it was less of a waste. I think I could justify it to myself.

Well you'd be turning my Xbox into a much sexier media center + emulation box with a larger hard disk

Or for like $15 you could just buy an adapter!

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822998001

Hook one up to one drive, hook the other 2 in the motherboard IDE channels. It should have at least one IDE port. Good ol' MASTER/SLAVE hookup

There is IDE to USB adapters as well, don't forget that!
