It formed that dodecamegahedromdoohickey around the belt. The explanation of it was something like "This is a universe, you can't kill a universe, unless you wrap it in something else to give it shape, so go on a quest to shoot it with MAGIC, which will cause it to become FUCKING HUEG MONSTARS!"

Mission failed.

Ahaha. Ashley was so overpowered... But yeah, I think Tim had some multi-target healing spell that meant no boss could ever touch my party... As fun a game as it was, it really was ridiculously easy.

No, he's locked up in the mines somewhere, you have to use Marivels singing to get him to wake up.

It's those funky looking rotating pyramid shaped things that I at first figured were some sort of chest or something.
