You can't forget the exclusives that I have now that I am enjoying a lot such as Resistance, Uncharted, and Warhawk, and the multiplats such as UT3, Assassins Creed, Oblivion (The one we "stole").

Assassins Creed was never announced as PS3 exclusive except by the media because it was shown on PS3 first. UT3 was already going to PC so it was just as "exclusive" as any Xbox360 Blockbuster. GTA4 just happens to come out on both consoles at the same time rather then a few months apart. Both consoles are also getting their own exclusive content. DMC 4 is the only PS3 "exclusive" to go to the Xbox360, but Capcom is also releasing Lost Planet on PS3 to "make up for it."

I just want to know how you can have a "dorky" version of achievements. They also haven't lost all BC. You can just choose to pay less if you don't want to play PS2 games. But there are still models on the market with backwards compatibility, and Sony has also hinted at full software emulation in the future. Also, what do you mean by two console sizes?

I also failed to mention that at no extra cost, I can play online all I want, and watch high definition movies and upscale my old DVDs. I see the PS3 as the system with it all, and so does EGM in their latest issue.
Dorky as meaning..."Hey dude, let's go bowling, on the PS3! Yo, check out my cool trophiezzz" It's dumb, a lame attempt to do something like the 360. I guess if you're into cyber interacting instead of playing, you're gold.

They lost their BC, any system that had it, is pulled off shelves. You'll be lucky to find one for sale.

They lost two GB sizes, I can't remember which ones exactly, but they lost two. I think the 80 and 60?

Online on ps3 is crap. It isn't horrible like ps2's, but it's crap compared to the 360's. I've tried it and trying to find friends or anything was a pain, I couldn't wait to get back on the 360 where everything was EASY.
You get what you pay for. This is no expception.

Ps3 to me, and many people is a cheap blu ray, with a few playable games worth playing.
I don't see many good games coming out for the ps3.
Also, the lack of rumble makes games boring, half of the games don't even use the motion censor well, if at all.

Mind me asking how they heartlessly bastardized said 3rd parties?
Did I say heartless bastards? Well, that was theatrical. Not going to bother to look anything up, but they prevented third parties from releasing nintendo-games on other consoles (think they had to wait for two year, and why do it after that?). That pretty much eliminated competition, you know. Plus they were forced to pay lotsa million dollars cash because they were fucking with distributors in Europe, forcing people to pay more for games than they should've.

And we all know that Sony's plain evil... eh, I'm getting a cd-i.

You say as if Microsoft hasn't copied anyone else in anything.

I don't know where you are from because I see about 50/50 on units with and without BC. This is at the many stores I go to.

The replaced a 60GB model with the 80 GB model, and added the 40 GB model. I don't see that as a negative, especially when you have the Xbox360 Premium, Elite, Core, and Arcade versions.

You are trying to compare a system that has been in place for over 5 years to something that has barely been out for 1 year. They have already announced to have a comparable service. They just aren't going to release something when it isn't completed.

We all like different games. Different strokes for different folks. PS3 has rumble. Have you not heard of the Dual Shock 3? It's been in Japan for a while and is about to be released everywhere else within a few weeks. I see the motion sensor as something that adds to the game when it is needed, not something that you HAVE to use. Resistance used it well when you shook off your enemies. Warkhawk uses it as an option, which when used gives you greater control on your weapons.

Well even the 360 got online from something, as far as im aware, the first mainstream console to have online was the dreamcast.

thinking about it, XBOX got a lot from the dreamcast. Look at the conrollers... slightly modernized dreamcast controllers, in nearly all aspects. If XBOX did something original, i would have more respect for it

I wonder if it is due to the fact that Peter Moore had a lot of say in both the Xbox360 and the Dreamcast.

I will give the Xbox kudos for the standardized HDD. Even if they gimped the Xbox360 and quite a few games by not making it mandatory and overcharge for one if you want to add it or upgrade.

Why don't you all shut the hell up? You sound like a bunch of silly fanboys.

I wouldn't buy a PS3 at this point, but not because I don't want one. A lack of funds has a lot to do with it, but it's mainly because I'm waiting for a price-drop and some compelling titles. There some of the latter on the way, so it's just a wait for the former that's keeping me from buying one. Well that and the aforementioned lack of funds.

I wouldn't buy a 360 at this point as, despite the 3-year warranty they offer, I'm not a fan of something I payed hard-earned cash on breaking down on me randomly after I buy it. I know you can send it in for a replacement, but being without a console sucks, when they could just focus on making the hardware a little more stable. When they do, I'll buy one.

I regret buying the Wii, because despite the odd gem from time to time, there isn't much software on the system that capitalizes on the promise inherent in the Wii-mote. I don't want to pay fifty bucks for PS2-quality ports of games that do little more than add arbitrary waggle controls. I want more games like Zack and Wiki, or No More Heroes. I want more games designed exclusively for the WII that don't skimp on graphics, and don't short-change me in the gameplay category. It's a fun system and all that, but the promise is still as-yet unmet.

All three systems have their strengths and weaknesses. Let's not fight over something so subjective....

Before I go waste money, what do you people think of that game Sins of a Solar Empire? I saw videos and reviews of it on TV/internet and it looked pretty interesting. Also what are its system requirements?

Crud...guess I'll have to wait until I can buy a new video card...(mine is DirectX 8 level) And Smash is coming out next month too, gah, too many games! lol

Actually, does anyone know how well SS Empire would run with my card? Other than that I have everything else that's needed to run the game.
    RADEON 9200 SE Family
I have the Orange Box by the way, it runs ok...lags here and there during battles and in certain areas.
