A leecher is someone who takes with no intention of contributing in any way, although it really is a hipocrytical term because everyone starts as a leecher. Eventually everyone either contributes or loses interest but who can tell what the future holds for any individual? I say let em leech cause how else will we get more contributers?
I know I wouldn't have contributed anything here or on the irc side of this site if there wasn't anything in it for me upfront and I doubt anyone else would.

Anyways, a leecher is person who steals other ppls' work and doesn't credit the original person who did it. For exmaple, people download games form some FTP sites but do not upload(contribute) any games back to the gamer and this is called leechers. Or another word, Straight downloaders.
