Metal Max Returns SNES

Hi,has anybody tried to translation patch this game? Or know how to do it?

I downloaded a translation , and patched it with Lunar ISP, but I just get a black screen when I load it with ZSNES, also tried it in x9SNES.


I downloaded if from Aeon Genesis

I tried to remove the header from the ROM using SNES Tool, but was unable to do it as when I quit the program the temporary file it has created which im assuming is the ROM without the header, disappears.I wouldn't usually go to all this trouble to try and get a game to work, but this game looks pretty juicy.
