It runs fullspeed on a P3 with half as much RAM.

Make sure you're not running too much, though, seeing as you don't have a lot of RAM.

    And you're, what, torrenting?

When I run ePSXe I always have firefox open at the same time, my PSX games play perfectly. I have a Pentium 4 - 3GHz and 512mb ram.

ePSXe ran on my old Win98SE, P III, 600 MHz, 128 MB, computer at full speed, mostly, even when I ran BitComet in the background.

But I only downloaded 1 or 2 torrents at a time.

Im running utorrent and flashget (2 downloads each).
Running more than 3 torrents could clog up my ports or something but thats a different story.

    Im using ePSXe 1.6.0 BTW

Most of the time i have opera running in the background, AVG, 3 yahoo widgets, deamon tools and um..

    Leave AVG on.

    I doubt it's the problem.

ePSXe itself shouldn't be using 100% of the CPU. Dunno what to tell you.

As for the rest, well, when you run all of those, except for ePSXe, what is your RAM usage?

about 60-75% of RAM is used but ePSXe only increases it by 2%.
CPU usage is about 5% when idle/everything is minimized

This is all according to my widgets but i double checked it with Task Manager.

Yeah, you could kill a few apps. Wouldn't hurt.

I'm checking the log you posted.

So far, I see 2 problem areas:

    C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Widgets\YahooWidgetEngine.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\nvsvc32.exe
    C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Widgets\YahooWidgetEngine.exe
    C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Widgets\YahooWidgetEngine.exe
    C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Widgets\YahooWidgetEngine.exe

I'm fairly certain you shouldn't have 4 instances of the same process running.

Try shutting down 3 of them.
Or shutting down all 4, then restarting Widgets, if that's possible.

    Also this:
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\wscntfy.exe

That's Windows Security Center, which really isn't necessary:
    http://www.neuber.com/taskmanager/pr...cntfy.exe.html

    To disable it, read this:
