That's basically the issue. They demand and demand, and when the boss/owner/whomever can't deliver, they go on strike. Strike leads to less money. Less money leads to cuts. Cuts lead to more strikes. Then, bam, shop closes. It happens a lot here. Wal-Mart actually closed a store.

People keep saying about Wal-Mart, Costco, and such that they need to stay out of here, that people need to stop going there because "our money is being sent to the USA, bla bla bla". It's as if them giving us jobs isn't a sufficient enough reason to allow them here. Christ. Then, you have to consider that buying from the local stores means your tab will be about 30% bigger. O_o
