The Taliban came from Pakistan and have conquered 95% of Afganistan, including the capital, Kabul. This is the civil war that has been going on for five years. The Taliban recently assassinated the rebel leader (who controls the other 5% of Afganistan) and it is thought the rebels attacked Kabul, not America.
No-one knows who did this, but it was probably a small terrorist group. Everyone seems to be baying for blood, saying they must destroy these people, but who do you attack? Even if we do find out who did this (remember there will be no forensic evidence as it was all incinerated - clever), it will be hard to find them. How do you shoot a ghost? they will all be in hiding as they seem very organised. America must use its intelligence and spy superiority, not firepower, to find these people, then hopefully bring them to justice in the Hague. These people say they do this for God. Glad I'm an atheist.
