Hee. Yeah, I especially like Septimus's expression when he walks in, and his completely droll 'What the hell is this?'. I knew by my parents' reaction to that scene that the film had won them over. I think it's the only fantasy movie besides The Princess Bride that they've ever really enjoyed. High praise indeed.

You like Gaiman's writing too, though?

Ah, this is a little off-topic. Well...I recently watched Serendipity and 1408, and rewatched Kill Bill Volume 1 and Sunshine. Serendipity was pretty blah, even if I do kind of like John Cusack, and 1408 was very blah, even if I do kind of like John Cusack. ^_~; The other two are both pretty nice, though. I had seen the second Kill Bill on TV a while back, and didn't remember the first one so well, so it was nice to refresh my memory a little. Sunshine was mainly watched because my little brother wanted to see it. I saw it at the cinema, and still remembered it pretty well. But I still think it's really good~ It loses a little in its transition to a horror movie, in my opinion, and is a bit stronger when it's just pure Sci-Fi. Still neat, though. And I like the soundtrack.

EDIT: Oh! I also watched Alone, a Thai horror from the directors of Shutter. Shutter was one of the jumpiest movies I ever watched, and had a wonderful ending. Alone isn't quite so good, but still definitely worth a watch. Its ending is nowhere near as strong as Shutter's, but it has some absolutely evil scares, and a pretty nice plot besides. Still definitely one of the best of its genre, and a cut above most of the highly derivative 'long haired girl ghost seeks revenge' stories that've become so popular since the success of Ring and Ju-On.

30 Days of Night was so so. The only thing that I really liked was a part at the end of the movie. I literally fell out of my chair laughing.

The King of Kong is a must watch. It is seriously the greatest documentary about competition that I have ever seen in my entire life.

Not much of a Michael Moore fan, but this was really good. I fucking hate how the health care is.

Daddy, would you like some sausages?

I watched Silent Hill last night, didn't really care for it, though I never really thought the games were anything special either.....

I liked it, thought it was fun. The storyline was a bit odd, but overall I thought it was good. Shame there's still around 6 months left til the second comes out ><

Planning on watching Shaun of the Dead later, never have.

That movie made me sick, no pun intended. It really did a good job showing how fucked up the health care system is.

I understand that insurance companies are businesses, but to essentially condemn someone to death by refusing to pay out on legitimate claims is insanity.

Just watched Boogeyman 2. I'm really surprised at how good it was.
    Spoiler warning:
Shocking twist near the end. Seriously. I didn't expect it.

    Edit: Lame ending.
