    Default Swap Magic?

Do I just buy the swap magic or do I need anything else to play PS2 backups? I plan to get a slim. And I can't find much anywhere to find Swap Magic, but here is where I can find it. Also, what would I need for PS1 backups? Although this is the least important. I think its called Breaker Pro, but I would like to know where to get this and where reliable stores are for U.S.

EDIT: Basically do I just need the discs and that's it, or will I need a slide card/ install anything? If so I may be going in the direction of getting a modded system.

if i were you i would buy the one from here http://www.gamesystemrepairguides.com/swapdsk.htm
if your getting the slim which i believe has a fliptop then just buy the normal swap magic disk, or if you want to cheat too then buy the magic coder does the same thing but it has cheats like that of a action replay or gameshark, but if your getting the normal ps2 get the swap magic with the slidecard...or you could just take off the thing on the front of the disc tray that has the playstation logo and use a butter knife. As for the ps1 backup player i dunno the only time ive played a ps1 game not on a real ps1 was on ePSX and on my psp with popsloader so youll have to wait for someone who knows about that....i wouldnt mind being able to play ps1 backups on my ps2 either though

for ps1 i think you need a totally different disc [Breaker Pro] or a chip. but for slim ps2 and SM you'll need the magic keys. sprung knows about those.

i recall using my PSX gameshark 9000 series disc and the slide card/cog swap method to play burned PSX games on a phatty.

if your planning on a slim. get a slimline with SM 3.6 and open the thing up and install the magic switch piece D i believe. Works like a charm for years. Magic keys 2 is utter crap. the stickyness on the metal piece that goes near the back of the lid is 200% shit.

Breaker Pro has been kind of a pain for me as it often fails to be recognized by my PS2. The method I describe in this post finally did the trick for 100% boot rate.
