Right. After that will I need to configure anything or what? The computer aren't even in the same room. Right now I just have my modem hooked up to a hub. Which runs an Ethernet cable to one computer. Then I have another cable from that running up through the wall to the upstairs. Then that hooks to another hub. Then from the second hub I have cables running to my pc and xbox. What all will I need to change?

Err, are you sure the thing after the modem is a hub and not just a wired router? Because you need a router somewhere in there.
Maybe your modem has an integrated router, too. In the case that your new modem will have an integrated router, you don't need anything.

Yep. No prob. But you definitely need a router somewhere in the equation, normally after the modem. Some modems do have integrated routing capabilities though, hence why your current setup might be working. Well you can always try it, but it's not supposed to work, lol.
