Yep, yep, and yep. But I usually use the main character too. I tend to forget that you can remove them in Star Ocean anyway, so... Fayt usually stays. Although Claude annoyed me in Star Ocean 2, so I gave him the boot.

I do occasionally use male characters, but it's rare. I liked Auron in Final Fantasy X. And I couldn't resist Lawfer and Lezard in Valkyrie Profile.

If only you could use Roger, Peppita, and Nel...

I like to mix it up evey couple of fights so that gameplay doesn't get stale.
Thats one of the reasons that Wild ARMS 5 and the Atelier Iris series of games are awesome to me.

Wild ARMs V is wonderful. And I haven't played any of the Irises. I've played a few of the older Atelier games in Japanese, though, and I liked them. I've really been meaning to give the PS2 ones a go...

I never mix around characters, though. I pick one little group and stick with it. It's always been a habit of mine.

I was making my return to the anime scene, Death Note rhythm helped me a lot.
I dunno, SEL was kind of slow...not in a negative sense but more like (WTF...?), still the ending was great.
