Default WinRar Files and Breath of Fire 4 ISO

I don't know really know what is going on, this is my first time downloading an ISO that was in several Rar files.

    So yeah...

I have all the .rar files in the same folder. I extract the first one, but I don't know how to get the rest of the .rar files to extract as well. I've been talking to a bunch of people about it and they can't seem to help me.

I'm trying to extract Breath of Fire IV and I'm using Windows 2000 Professional OS. Don't know what else to say really....

Extracting the first .rar extracts them all, as they are all part of the same file, rather than each containing different things.

I tried that, but not all of them extract, which is why I'm having the problem.

I'm going to be DLing that game myself shortly, I'll let you know if I have any problem with it.

But for now, what do you mean by 'not all of them extract'? If you have them all in the same folder, and extract the first RAR, do you get an error or something else?

The only thing I can think that'd stop it from working is not having all the files, or a file may be incomplete. Make sure the files are uniform in size (excluding the last file which should be smaller). What do you get after extracting? And how long does it take to extract?

If you get a winrar diagnostic popup then it's corrupt.

All of the rar files EXCEPT the LAST should be the SAME size.

Okay, so Suikoden works, but not Breath of Fire... should I just redownload BoF IV?

Check the files, if you missed one out, slap yourself and go get it.
If they ain't uniform, it's not right,

I'm guessing that there are 3 100mb files and 1 smaller one, right?
What happens when you extract it? Describe in detail or give us some screenshots.

If he's missing a file or something like it, he would see a pop-up stating that he needs to input where the "next volume" is.

Otherwise, we'll need a screenshot with full names and extensions.

True. Then there's always the possibility that Breath of Fire IV is like Ehrgeiz, meaning that it extracted, but still had a .rar extension on the big file. If that's the case, simply renaming it to .img .iso or .bin would fix it.

Then again, he didn't say anything like that (that I saw), so I could be wrong.

What do you mean by "it doesn't work"?

Are you getting some kind of error message when you extract BoF 4 from the split rar archive?

    Be more specific please.

No, there were no error messages. But no img file appeared. Tanthias was right, it was a rar file that needed an .img added on to it's name. It's working now. Thank you.
