I got the thing to work last night but not very well. I put it on the lowest settings I could and it still played like crap!!! Like I said this is my first time running an ISO and I don't really know what Im doing yet. I just found out yesterday that you could play actual discs on an emulator, LOL. I tried the PAL verision of the original Resident Evil and it did'nt play right either. I also downloaded a PS2 emulator so that I can play a couple games I got off Ebay, Ya not havin such a great time with that either. Are DC Emulator's easier to use??? Can somebody tell me a good Emulator to use to get me started, any system it doesnt matter as long as its pretty basic stuff.![]()
PSXeven is good?
Been out of the latest and greatest in emulation for a while, but why hasn't anyone recommended ePSXe?
EDIT: Aside from the fact that he can't seem to unrar the files :p

PSXeven is basically like ePSXe as far as plugins and whatever go.
Alright I'll give those a try through out the week. So don't even bother with any of the newer systems (GC/ PS2/ XB/ PSP/ DS)
BEST EMULATORS
For PSX
ePSXe 1.6.0 and ePSXe 1.5.2 (for some Squaresoft games)
http://www.epsxe.com/download.php
PSXeven (similar to ePSXe, can play a few games ePSXe can't)
pSX Emulator (a.k.a. psxfin--not as compatible as the first 2, but easier to learn how to use)
http://psxemulator.gazaxian.com/
For Saturn:
SSF (best one, by far, but you need a higher-end computer to run some games at full speed)
http://evilboris.sonic-cult.net/SSF/...hp?x=minconfig
Yabause (not nearly as compatible as SSF. but system requirements are less than SSF's)
http://yabause.org/
Cassini (use this with Yabause, if you can't use SSF)

For DreamCast:
READ THIS: http://www.epforums.org/read-if-you-t43409/index.html
For NDS:
No$GBA (Best NDS emulator, needs a fairly fast CPU, especially for some games)

DeSmuMe:
http://desmume.org/downloads/
IdeaS:
http://www.ideasemu.org/
For PS2
PCSX2 (need a dual-core, preferably a Core2Duo and a higher-end gfx card or most games won't play at full speed):

You can find the BIOS files you'll need for all these emulators, except PS2, here:

XBox, GameCube, and PSP emulation isn't worth bothering with yet.
