    Velvet Revolver - Libertab Album

Anyone like these guys? It's basically Stone Temple Pilots and Guns N Roses mixed together. Members comprise of both, and the sounds is pretty much Guns n Roses with that grungy edge to it. Libertad's a lot more mellow and laid back with their new album, but still really good.

I like their first CD more so than Libertad.

Anthrax - Persistence Of Time (Album)

Miles better than Spreading The Disease. Has a little groove bits here and there but all in all, it's much more serious and less annoying than previous efforts. Thumbs up!

np: Pretty Maids - Until It Dies "Carpe Diem"

Never bothered with Anthrax, stuff like Taking The Music Back really put me off them.

I agree. I liked their hardcore, badass music on the first. But at least the second isn't disappointing, just more mellow.

Taking the music back is from their shit era...check out all the Turbin and Belladonna fronted stuff (Fistful of metal through persistence of time).

Recommend getting the album Among the Living.
