If I have to fucking well explain how that applies, you're a lost cause.

You pretty obviously are a believer in the myth that guns provide a one-shot-one-kill with every bullet. They don't, ask any deer hunter, they don't. Also, you have to have a steady hand, good eye-sight, etc etc. Ask anyone who's ever been trap shooting with a shotgun, its not easy to hit a target unless your very, very close to the target.

Hell, even with a modified choke, I couldn't hit more than one out of five clays my first five attempts. That was the first time I held a gun. Now I'm barely to a average of 4/5, with a bleeding shotgun of all things!
You'll note that I never said a damn thing about accuracy in that post. Of course training plays a part, that's not what I'm disputing. I'm just pointing out:
That with equal training, a 5'3 140 pounder will rarely be on the same level as a 6'2 250 pounder when it comes to brawling. Not the case with small arms
That there is a significant psychological difference between armed melee and firearms combat.
That the hydraulic shock caused by a bullet impact is a significantly different, and significantly more deadly, form of injury than the lacerating trauma of typical edged weapons. Which is different again from the blunt force trauma associated with unarmed strikes.

And yet, you haven't bothered to show how being armed would have saved them.
