I was towards it at first, and two chapters in, when I figured that battles stopped when I did ( ), I started liking it. Game's really fun around the end, though, when the story starts unfolding.

The battle system is super-good. I would've been more than happy with just a rehash of the first game's, so... And yes, the story gets pretty nice towards its conclusion. And...the boss fights can be really fun... I don't know. I'm probably just blinded by nostalgia for the first game.
