ive heard that that card has been discontinued, was there some problem with it? Why was it stopped so soon? Btw, is there any difference between the MSI, Sparkle, and so on?

I doubt it's been discontinued, it's by far the most popular GeForce3 card out there, so I don't think it can be possible. Difference in MSI and the other brands is probably on the basis of RAM ratings (Speed/response times) and other architectural and driver differences, nothing major in the long run..
hmm.. well i think ill buy it a bit later, i need a Hard disk, and a dvd drive now![]()

I haven't read anything about a discountinue on the geforce3 ti series cards. But it would make sense since Trident is going to be putting out their new card soon which will be faster then the g3 ti, and cost way less; when trident puts out their card their will be no "real" market for the radieon 8500's or geforce3 ti cards.
Trident is the reaper of the $80-$200 vid card range. No one will survive after the T3.

i hope it eats nvidia to their bones![]()
Intel is up, AMD eats shit
Not really, the Ti500 price is down to $70 or so now, so I think it can still pretty much fight.
i just bought the Geforce 3 Ti 200 but mine has 128mb instead of the usual 64mb of the series. it was manufactured by Chaintech
I reckon MSI is the best manufacturer for the price.
I suppose the Ti500 can compete, but Nvidia is concentrating more on the $200 - $400 price range and the $500 and up range these days. They might not care. Ok, I'm sure they do, but the T3 will not leave them many choices. They can either fight ATI, or go to the lower prices and fight Trident.
