We leave the range hood light on all night so the kids can see to get drinks of water from the water cooler...it puts out enough light into the bedroom that I can see, but it's not enough to keep me awake.

My mom used to do that too, but then the damn thing stopped working. I use my cell phone as a flashlight now.

I wish I had the cash to drop on games. I will soon, but until I can get a feel for how much the bills are going to total here from month to month, I'm keeping frivolous spending to as little as possible. Once I know what I'll have to play with, I'm planning on picking up a copy of GHIII for the Wii.

That's probably a good idea. There's not too many feelings worse than suddenly realising you don't have enough money left to make ends meet.

I've got Mario Galaxy pre-ordered, but only because I had a couple of DVD sets that I bought cheap back in the day and no longer watch, and was able to trade them in for a pretty substantial amount over at Gamestop. Enough to cover the pre-order for the game in its entirety.

I don't think my Gamestop takes DVD's in for trade, but they sell them. I always wondered about that...I could be wrong though.

No doubt. I've always been good at managing bills, but after being laid of early this year, things just piled up while I searched for a job, and I never recovered. This time around should be different, because I've got family around to help. Oh, I had family around before, but asking them to help would be as difficult as wishing yourself an extra penis into existence. You can try all you want, but in the end, nothing is going to happen. These people are different. Hell, they kinda have to be, given that we're all living together.

Once I've figured out how much everything is going to cost me though, I'm going to get caught up on all the gaming I've missed recently.

Eh, they still take them here, but they no longer offer cash for them. I guess they just weren't selling enough of them to justify the loss, whereas with trade credit, they make out like bandits.

It's no wonder they never really sold well though. Aside from stock being typically crappy, what with it being driven by people who seemingly have no taste in films, but they used to charge really unfair amounts, while offering next to nothing for them in cash.

Well...when I broke a bone some years ago I only felt a bit of pain, and I didn't realized it was broken until I got to the hospital.

Then, I fell from some considerable height and my knees did a loud crack sound and it hurted pretty bad and nothing happened.

So yeah...
