You say that Daemon Tools didn't want to open the image at all. What do you mean by that and post a screenshot of what happens when you try it.

Well I think I didn't use the program as it should be used... I mean, I did exactly what it was told me to do on the Daemon tools section. I've booted my PC, then I clicked on Virtual CD/DVD-Rom -> Device 0: [?] No Media -> Mount Image
Then I selected the CD Image but when I chose RE3 it gave me an error message.
I tryed this not hust once but a lot of times

But hey I found an emulator called ssspsx and RE3 worked fine on it. I didn't get any sound problems. I think that this sound problem is a bug on epsxe...

    See ya

I'm still trying to find a solution to this with my epsxe1.60 with the PEOpS plugin, which gave me the best sound quality.
Other thing is that I really don't want to try solving my problem with another emulator (only if it's the only way) 'cause I believe that this is just a configuration or plugin manner.
I'm also having sound and freezing problems with RE2 on Claire B, but this is for another thread...

    EDIT:
Ok, I've found something that might help you helpn me. When I started the game in a windowed mode, the problem continued, but i closed the window on the "x" button, and then I started to hear her talkin, with the fat guy that hides himself 'cause he's too afraid to go with her, for a long time. I hope this helps...
I figured out a way to end the sound after closing out the ePSXe. If the sound persists, open up task manager, click on processes, and find ePSXe.exe. After finding the process, (DO NOT MESS WITH ANY OTHER PROCESSES!!!) highlight it and click end process. The sound will stop.

That's because if you don't hit escape before closing ePSXe you'll still have it running in the background memory.

OK, the default file types that you can open aren't the ones you need for ePSXe. When you try to mount in Daemon, select any file (*.*), then select the OTHER files. You need the .bin instead of the .cue

    Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Please don't make more than one post or thread to ask the same question.
And don't revive such old threads either.
