Default Voting for Colbert in '08!

Okay, so Colbert is trying to mock the horse-and-pony show that is American elections. But, think about it. Who better to run this bitch than a cynic, an intellectual, and a Irish Catholic who is capable of critizing his own church?

Stephen Colbert's show makes fun of the parts of our society that deserve it. Our leaders, our life-style's, and our trends. While his show may be wrapped up in satire, the man you see in serious interviews is a world apart from a late-night comedy central spot.

Here's the man we don't see on Comedy Central:

    1. He's a practicing Irish Catholic, and he teaches at Sunday School. Despite this, he isn't above critizing his own church as is obvious on the show. He's the perfect middle-ground for secular and religious Americans!

    2. He's also a critic of the Bush Administration. Whilst leaning Democrat, he clearly shows that he believes in barrier's for our own, or our children's own benifit.

    3. He's also a credit to men (and to a much lesser extent, women) like us here on EP forums! He's a recovering D&D addict!

My fellow Americans (and to any illegal's voting in the state of California), Vote Colbert in '08! If his names not on the ballot, you can always write it in!

He's not being serious. I think it would be even better if he was though.

Go ahead and waste your vote on a guy with zero experience in politics.

Or... you could vote Ron Paul, and maybe make a difference if it doesn't somehow register as a vote for Clinton.

Wow, most people don't realize it's impossible for him to win, and if it even was possible, he wouldn't win, most people want a real politician.

Yes, this is about as fucking stupid a statement as anyone ever made.

Yeah, we all want a person who's well-versed in the art of lying.
