you probably missed something in his instructions. you tried to install 3.47 first? you only have to remove that if you get a BSOD (thats Blue Screen o' Death)(if it happens you'll know it when you see it) after installation and/or an error that says "Virtual SCSI Driver not found", only then do you try the new version
