    Default Legend of the Dragoon

Alright, so I downloaded the game and extracted/patched it and what not, but when I burn it off and play the disc in my PSX, I get a looping screen (continues to cycle upwards). I was wondering if theres a known fix for this?

i believe if you wish to play it on your actual psx you need to use a swap disc or have your psone moded ^.-

My PSX is modified, perhaps I should have been more detailed. One I get passed both loading screens which you see for all PSX games when you turn on your PSX, the screen begins to loops upwards continuously.

I got the fact that it had to be modded but since I don't have this game (or at least don't have it burned I'm no more helpful then Fear was. I think I do have it and if not I'll get it and try it with the swap trick I'm using on my PSX.

Sounds like the release is in the wrong region. (PAL game on NTSC system, or vice verse)

I've been sticking to NTSC-U versions of games. I believe the torrent said it was NSTC-U, but I could be wrong. I'll try a different version, as well as a PAL version. Thanks for the input.

Edit: After checking my PSX's labels on the bottom, it is indeed NTSC-U/C

I'm guessing, but from the way you describe it, it sounds exactly like when I end up with a PAL release on my systems.

    Good luck

Now that you mentions it Sprung that could be the reason. Amid, is it also in black and white on your TV when it does that?

    [EDIT]
You can easilly find out if it's NTSC or PAL by loading it in pSX The Emulator and pressing TAB your keyboard to display all the advanced info about the video. When it goes in-game check the fps to see if it's 60 for NTSC or 50 for PAL.
