According to a friend of mine the minimum requirements for the PC version are actually low enough for me to play, which is a far cry from the dual core, 2 GB, SM3 bullshit some volunteer mod on their forums claimed a couple months ago. I might have to check it out.

You could save at any of the owl statues, you know. There's also the reverse song of time, which makes time move twice as slow. I liked the time and save system in MM. :O It gave a nice sense of urgency and importance to your every action.

I haven't played the game since 2000, I remember it being a pain to find an owl statue to save. I think there were warp options later in the game to make it easier...

I have it on the Gamecube as well as N64...Hmm, I might go back to it and try again.
