Here in the states you better just not fail. You fail in Elem./Middle/High School in more than 2 classes, you don't get credit for anything in that grade. If you just fail one you have to attend summer school to get credit. In college, if you fail you don't get credit for that course, your GPA plummets and your pretty much fucked.

Not really. I failed MAT111 twice in college. I just don't "get" Algebra..

Anyway, I still graduated with honors from Phi Theta Kappa and a GPA above 3.6. (I forget what it was exactly) I counteracted the F's with some classes I took that didn't apply to my degree, but interested me...Advanced Operating Systems (Linux) and Networking. (My degree was Programming).
