Default Skies of Arcadia (DC) with DC-X

I newly bought Skies of Arcadia (NTSC) for my Dreamcast (PAL).
I've got the DC-X Converter that should get the game a run, but it doesn't.
I allready tried all varianties in the special menue.

Is there a way to get it running or was I tricked - 'cause the seller told me it should run...

Are you trying to play a backup of Skies of Arcadia or do you have an original?

    Oh right.

Well I've never used DC-X (I do have it though), I've heard it does not work with copied games. But since you're running the original. I've no idea why it's not working.

Maybe you should have bought a PAL copy.

Yeah, imports are sometimes cheaper though...
And I was garantied that it would work.
I will contact the seller, I just thought someone here could know something.
The game starts but I get a screen that's splitted into 4 parts (don't know how to describe it better in english) sound is working - only graphic bugs.

I had Massive issues issues geting my Original JAP NTSC Shenmue to run on my Dreamcast.

If I remember correctly Utopia did not boot the game it would load and get stuck at 99% every time.

In any case you should at least try a Utopia Boot disk...

However what did eventually boot my disk was the action replay disk for dreamcast (a disk that has cheat codes on the disk before booting) this seemed to work quite well and loaded shenmue NTSC just fine.

Hopefully someone here can guide you to the disk image I just remember going through hell trying to find it.
Platforms: Dreamcast, Xbox, GCN, Saturn, MegaDrive, MegaCD, Xbox360, PC-DVD ROM

hopefully you know there is no flaw in the ps3 that sony made, the graphics of the ps3 will not be touched by anything other than movies... its a supercomputer on a chip, nothing can hope to rival ps3s graphics...no gpu quad setup can compete with the ps3, the ps3has supercomputer + power...and we have yet to see 10% of ps3 displayed, and there is no 100%, so please try another argument
