I just finished another... The rise of Darth Vader, takes place at the end of Episode 3 and just after. Not bad, the writing was ok, and the book itself wasn't much more than 300 pages. I recommend it for star wars nuts though. as it meshes nicely and sorta clears up a few issues from the last movie. Still I got it on a whim, non starwars or even casual fans should stay away.
I also got into the elven nations trilogy, which I read when I was like 14 or 15, it's pretty neat. Just finished the first 2 books of the trilogy, once again not much more than 300 pages. The writing isn't exactly great, but hey who doesn't love D&D elves on Krynn??? It's about the split of the Sylvanesti elves into 2 countries (the other becoming the Qualinesti, of course
) However it's not greatly written, so most people won't like it. Most of the other Dragonlance books are much better....
Gonna tackle book 3 next, and then I might read Queen of the Damned again by Anne Rice (in my opinion the best of the vampire chronicles)!!!!
