Anyone else here get so good at Golden Axe that you can beat the game with one quarter? I would need two for Final Fight, right now if I had a choice of a vintage arcade cabinet I'd probably choose Double Dragon or Marvel vs. Capcom 2. The latter is perfectly ported over to Dreamcast but there's nothing like a real arcade game. Anyway, I can play as any character in a Capcom fighter but given a pick of a team I'd go with Ryu, Wolverine and Dr. Doom though I don't need a team to troll hardcore with Dhalsim teleporting around at will. Ryu, Wolverine and Dr. Doom have a 99% damage team interrupt combination however, Wolverine fills the super meter fast by slashing at the air if you don't pressure him from a distance, Dr. Doom flies around and can start a super combo in midair, Wolverine then opens up a can of whoopass interrupting with Weapon X then Ryu interrupts right before the final Weapon X strike with the most damaging shin shoryuken. Dhalsim, Gambit and Blackheart team supers are very cheesy and do an insane amount of combo hits but nothing beats getting perfects with the aforementioned 99% damage combo team.
Conversely, Wolverine and Dr. Doom are already my preferred comic book protagonist and antagonist respectively with Deadpool as the antihero who is Wolverine's fellow Canadian Weapon X colleague, so choosing them in a Capcom fighting game was a no-brainer even before I learned the MvsC team fighting system. Ryu as their Capcom teammate was another no-brainer.
