I don't mind paying £15 provided it's in good condition and works 100% - an awful lot of them seem to have dead pixels and/or scratches to the screen, which I suppose is to be expected for a 20 year old console, but still something I'd rather pay a little extra to avoid.
Its pretty damned elitist of these major toy and video game companies to choose 'select regions' for much of their product....seems beyond retarded from a marketing standpoint...
I have always tried to lend a hand to my 'foreign' buddies over the years, from Lucky Charms cereal, to modern Star Wars figures.
About the GameBoys, do as you need to, mate, but if you can hold-off for a few weeks, I can locate/produce a really cherry grayscale for you...
I enjoy cash/sterling, naturally, but I have also been known to swap for 'region-exclusive' foodstuffs and treats....
(Always need more HP Brown and Marmite for my larder.)
