I so abused my other laptop too, it was left on for about 2 years never being turned off... It also got dropped twice (and survived both times!) Not a mark on the screen, just some quite nasty looking scratches on the underside. That's it.

Although the screen does seem to have gone a bit dim compared to this laptop's screen. I do recall my other laptop having a very bright screen when I first got it. It's not too badly noticeable though.
