I've been looking forward to having two days off in a row for ages now.

When we got home last night, we discovered we have some kind of metal debris that's punctured the back right tire in our only car. Then around 8:00 or so the power went out and we spent the evening hot, sweaty, and bored until it came back on around 3:00 in the morning, at which point I promptly went to bed.

Today I feel sick and irritable, and it's supposed to storm again later. If the power goes out again, I'll die. Got paid Friday, but can't go to the bank until Tuesday, so no new tires until then. Blargargarg.

I remember the last time the power went out here. I played my DS while my brother sat in the dark with a candle, staring at me with a facial expression of both jealousy and murderous intent.
