My DC's never had trouble reading any brands, but I've never used the shit of the shit. Mainly Raitek and Verbatim.

Eh, I've burned a lot of games ( at 32x, on a Liteon drive ) and they worked fine. But I since realised the error of my ways, and I use 8x now.
