when the power goes out my DSL stays on so long as i keep the DSL modem and my laptop powered with a Car batrey and an inverter

but unless you have wireless internet then i dont see why it should crap out when it rains. also line noise can have an effect. my speed up/down was 1254/192kbps then i moved the modem to a differnet phone jack and it went up to 1560/868kbps idk if this info helps you at all tho.

I might have to end up buying Test Drive Unlimited for the 360. My son reneted it, and loves the game. $34.95 isn't too bad. It's better than the normal $60 for 360 games.

His Xbox360 webcam won't work with Vists, and Microsoft has no plans to release a driver for it. So, we grabbed another...Labtech, I think...it installs the driver, and then removes it after a forced restart.
