Default Final Fantasy VII - Cosmo Canyon glitch

I've tried quite a few video plugins, and still get the same problem.

Music and sound is fine, but when It comes to speaking with characters, the text boxes are blank.

I have tested all my files before I play any games to be sure there are no corrupt files. I've shown none before I played this, but still have the glitch. Anyone else getting it?

Glitch only started for me in Cosmo Canyon

Hey, try the SAVE/ISO on pSX 10.0, if that gets rid of the problem, progress past Cosmo Canyon, save. Then reload the save/iso in ePSXe and continue.

There's an option in the graphics settings that has something like "3 - Shows more things" try turning that on. That might fix it there and then.

It would be good to know more info on what are you using to emulate the game: emulator, version, plugins and your comp specs..

    I used Pete's D3D driver 1.76 in epsxe 1.6.0, worked fine.
