i know of silkroad but it seems to be down and flyff is too childlish!!!

well, diablo 2 and Guild Wars have one time costs, and you can play lineage 2 free on private servers.

...Did you actually check them out? Some of them only have minor limitations, like special equipment you can only get by paying. Is that so severe?
Still, most of those I checked out are free, and without limitations.

Silkroad froze on me every 5 seconds or so. Hah.

i have 521 kbps down and 128 kbps up

I did not mean lag, or slow speed. It just exited the game randomly. The graphics seemed nice, though.
