The Holy Trigger -- Perfect Dark Online club

Hello,

I'm an aspiring game developer and lately I've been disappointed with how today's games, especially developed by North Americans, lack creativity and innovation. As we approach the next generation of consoles I see more and more people go back in time to enjoy what video games had to offer. I've seen people go as far back to the SNES era playing Super Mario World and The Legend of Zelda: A link to the past.

Sooner or later the game industry will be twins with hollywood. Nothing we could do about this.

Well, anyways, one of the older games I've been playing as of late, on my PC, is Perfect Dark for the N64. I want to start an online gaming club where we could schedule multiplayer death matches and play against each other. Of course this would be once a week, preferrably on the weekends as almost everyone is pre-occupied with school and work.

Upon initiation I'll give you some "tools" to get started. But since this is emuparadise you guys should already know which emulator to use and such

It is online multiplayer because the deathmatches will be held on servers provided by <a href="http://www.kaillera.com/">Kaillera</a>. So maybe that's what you mean by <i>"..for it's transferred or whatever to a site so it's online multiplayer?"</i>

If I remember correctly Perfect Dark has a problem with synch online..No? Or was it James Bond, or the 2?

I've never had a problem playing Perfect Dark online. My cousin and I played multiplayer for 30 minutes. It was fun. And I do not believe Goldeneye has an online problem aswell since I know of many people who play that game online without any conflict.

I guess it depends on how reliable your modem is

How reliable my modem is? I guess it's extremely reliable, since i have low pings in most PC games, and a 6.5mps download by 900kbps upload. :\

Meh, sure, why not. If I could somehow use my mouse while playing Perfect Dark, then... *drool*

Of course, there is the thing about me having no idea how to set up network play for the emulator. But I'm sure I'll find out how sometime.

Again that would depend on your computer.

Personally I think the safest way is to just send it via a direct connection on AIM, MSN, or IRC. Your choice.

actually, YSI or another uploader would be better, because a lot of people are gonna need it, and that way you don't need to be on to give it.
