    Same as Sniperman, I came here looking for SNES roms before I even knew PSX Emulation existed. DIdnt start posting much until I discovered the joys of being praised for uploading stuff. >>

    ^ "This guy with a pic like that and name will know my reason I guess..."

    ehhh I just talked to this one guy about SRW (has an open attitude to the point you think he was being an insultive, wher eyou just wanna smack him)

    The guy wouldn't stop nagging me to go to this place.. but I fear torrents a bit, cause torrents might've been one of reasons as to why my previous comp got a nice fat virus that ate the whole motherboard x.x; but ehh can't be all that bad.. specially this site o.o;

    Yeah so I'm currently dling SRW Alpha (btw whatever happen Alpha Gaiden, that got the person I talked to surprised also.)

    Anyways yeah I'm *new* <--(shame on you if you didn't notice that XP, somehow found humor in stating that.)

    anyways nice meeting all.. and I should probably go find the intro section and introduce myself maybe >>;

    I've heard of EP, but never bothered to come cuz when I heard about it, I was already tired of emu and roms.

    Then I started using torrents for a lot of stuff, and after a while, I was led to the EP tracker.

    Then I joined EP forums for the first time to request a reseed... then I got more involved with the community and found a lot of psx import games that way. I love this place!!!!!!

    Default WOW..it's been a long time...

    I found EP while searching for old Super Famicom games like Dragon Quest VI, Bahamut Lagoon and Live-A-Live. Didn't even look on one of those Top 20 lists, as most are absolute crap! (And most are, where you click to D/l the game u are actually voting for the site). Found EP by chance, think it was Google or CherryRoms (now there is some nostalgia there) and then d/l some games for a few months. Back then, I had only the 56K connection @home (pathetic...) and the college network did not allow d/l of files. That was something like 3 yrs ago. Donated some $$ to the admin (he knows me...i asked many questions...LOL) through maisongray & payp*l, and started coming to the site more often.

    Finally began posting on the forums a few mos ago. Very excited at all the knowledge there is. Next to my other favorite site, there is a HUGE amount of knowledge here. Just about every subject covered....lots of OT conversations to keep things interesting too.

    This is a great place, there are actual r00mz (OMG...no 10 popups and cutting pasting URLs to get one sh1tty D/l of a virus infected game) here, nice forums, admins don't kick me in the @$$ too much...LOL.. D*mn I talk too much, but u get the idea. I have four requests, if you really like EP: 1) Vote for the site, from the main page atleast Top 50 & Top 66 2) Click the ad at the top of the homepage, so they can pay their bills 3) Tell your cool friends about EP 4) Tell your enemies about the other rom sites, to waste their time on non-existent files and many popups.

    Um I was searching for SNES roms to begin with and I came across this site, I didn't think anything of it at the time, then when I was looking for PSX ROMS on google I tried all the other apparently "Free" PSX Roms page that led to voting systems that never actually let you continue to the supposed PSX roms page.

    Then I found this site again, saw that the PSX Roms had a simple and hassle free voting system (one that didn't bring up about 10 pop-ups and instead placed it into a single frame on the same page) downloaded the emulator, had trouble setting it up first, month or 2 later looked at the help file, made the emu work, tried playing FF9 didn't work, came to the forums and got help configuring the emulator.

    I was looking for a Chrono Cross ISO on Google, and after I went so deep into the search I found CHRONO CROSS PORNO FANFICS (which disturbed me no end). I found this place, the links didn't work, I joined the forum and saw the (then unspoken) rule that you should have at least 150 posts before requesting.
    I didn't want to get on anyones side, so I did that, but after a while I was hooked. Now I just come as a place to put excess time.

    He isn't a mod, and the only perk staff members get is that they get to mess around with people's accounts. That's the way I saw it as a super mod, anyway.

    Most likely from affiliate links or topsite links a few years ago I didn't really join it at first site, as I found most of what I wanted at other sites. I just recently registered in the forums. I don't even know why I did now thinking about it
