    Cool Your Favorite nonames

I love music like nothing else on the planet besides my old nes. I love music at its purest, before the 1000000000 dollar deal and the huge mansions with all that fancy stuff, when it is just a bunch of guys playing to have fun.

i bet you know of a great band u want to get a great deal and just blow up into something huge like greenday because they just rock so much.

im making this so we can all talk about our favorite little bands that are still playing in barns and bars for a little less than minimum wage.

ill start the list with 2 of my favorites

    Sophomore
    Blue Velvet

anywhere outside of the butthole music bars in the midwest they are unheard of but they can rock with the best of em.

Well, to accomodate that, I would go with More Machine Than Man (Industrial), R.A.M. (Random Access Memory of course, also Industrial), and Arabella (HC Punk, female vocalist here in Reno)

Two words: underground metal. There's sooo many great bands that I could name, be it bands with a record out or that are still only doing demos and stuff.

There's no such thing as a "wage" for a musician, the only cash underground bands ever make is from selling merchandise and a measly percentage of record sales.

My bro listened to Nirvana and Pearl Jam way before they ever became popular. Pearl Jam crept back into the underground scene and they're still putting out records nowadays. Brilliant underexposed musicians, one of the many I could name.

I was happy to see The Fray, some local guys I had been listening to, get signed to a major label. Currently, my favorite no-name is named (the irony) Seventh Act. They're in Montana and have no CD's yet, but I saw them at a show and they were great. No vocalist but still. I have a sample if anyone wants it =P

I'm perfectly aware that I make people sick.

Lonely Kings. A punk group out of Santa Cruz. A cross between Social Distortion and Face to Face. I've been a fan since '99. They just came out with a new disk a couple of month ago. Good Group.

The October. They are a band from around here, but they are slowly making their way up and starting to become popular. They tour all over the nation.
