Is there a way to check mp3's for errors?

I was just wondering, I have a bunch of mp3 that were downloaded from the internet, I'd like to check to see if there are errors. To find if there are little imperfections and what I would call little hiccups in the song where the audio songs kind of like well a "hiccup"! So that I can then convert and burn these as wavs to disc. The only way I know of is to listen to each and every mp3 over 200, but I don't have the time. If anyone knows of an easier way, I'd love to read it. Also, what does the term batch testing mean? Does it check music files for errors? If so, where can I get a batch tester and what is the best one. Thanks for any help you can send my way......

why the hell would someone download over 200 songs and not listen to them? even if not for errors but damn...oh well.

I think the bottom line is that he is just gonna have to listen to each mp3, and listen closely to see if there are any skips or "hiccups" in the track. There is no machine or program on earth that is going to be able to recognize these things without having an already perfect mp3 of the track in question to compare it to.

this sounds like the sort of check that might pick up errors in the sound like hiccups.
