There's a delete option, click edit and it's the first thing you'll see.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

Really, wouldn't it be easier to get a few 250 gig HDD, load the games on your comp, and grab a few emulators? Sure, it wouldn't look as cool, but for a guy who has a Mario wallaper, does he even know what cool is?

I doubt very much that he does. In fact, I'm pretty sure he and cool have never been formally introduced.

Default answers to the mystery man

Alot of ppl have been wondering who this person is. what this person is like. If any1 bothered to goto the home page, you'd find a link to "My Collection Journey." which directs you to a page titled, "The Video Game Conspiracy!" This page explains alot.

His name is Jason Gibson. So now we know he's male.
He was born in 1973. which makes him about 32 as of 2005.
    Lives in Virginia, USA.
His email: [email protected] (oh gawd he's an aol user)

There are alot of things that suggest he is not super dupper rich:
most of his games are pre-owned. The fact that pre-owned games can be bought so cheap was one motivation towards amassing this collection ("$1, $2, $5"). Also, this game room is an attachment to his house, meaning he didnt just convert a room in his house. If he lived in a mansion i dont think he would need to attach a room, he would just convert 1 of many rooms. He also claims he spent "thousands of dollars" to amass this collection. So now ya know its not a million dollars of crap. He also says the "NES emptied his pockets." So ya know hes not rich.

furthermore, he does not have every game for every console. He has a list of games he has, and those that he is still searching for. He owned about 200 games as of 1998 ("mostly atari"). He now claims to have 5303 games.
He has 308 SNES games, there were over 700 SNES games released in the US alone (i downloaded them, haha, im better than him).

Someone here said that he's prabably just a collector and doesnt play them. It seems this is the case. From what he wrote about his "journey",he seems intent on collecting games rather than playing them.

Alot of people doubt he has any friends. Apprently when he was young, he had friends. Thats how he was introduced to the NES. Who knows if he has any friends now.

He didnt get his NES until 2 years after its release. He played it over at his friend's house before that. (thus, not rich)

The TV in his game room; come on, what a piece of crap TV, what kind of rich gamer uses that. I would have a big screen TV as well as a projector, just because i can.

He ends his babble with, "Staring at my walls of games, shelves of consoles, thousands of dollars. I think was I crazy? Am I insane? HELL YES! Damn you Mario, Damn you to hell you have poisoned my mind & soul & emptied my pockets with your NES! Alas I wouldnt want it any other way"

Congradulations, every1 agrees that he is crazy, even him.
Note that he has an XBOX but doesnt have Halo or Halo 2.

Most info taken from his website. Some Personal info taken from whois and confirmed by a few people search engines.

Well, let that stand as a lesson that researching is far more effective then making baseless assumptions. Less fun, but more effective.

Seriously. I feel like something of an ass for making fun of the guy based on a couple second long glance at his immense game collection.

    He's still a geek though.

Aww...damn magsec...I was having so much fun reading what everyone said about this guy. And who is the magsec guy anyway? Can we truly trust him? So lets just pretend he didnt say anything, delete his post, and move on...
Yeah, thats right. I'm good friends with Satan. Don't believe me? Here's a picture. See that guy on the left? See that great big mammoth of a demon, burning in blue flames, with great big claws and a giant, gaping mouth full of razor sharp teeth? Now, see that tiny little speck behind him, chewing on a bone, and looking all beat up? Thats me.

That sounded so... priestly. Supet Mario Neverland! Better late than never!
I already have a massive game collection... heheheh... and you do too (God bless emulation). But I would love to have a collection THAT big. No money for that, me car's mods are expensive enough. To all the aspiring coollectors/spenders, eBay is a way to start.
